Photo taken with my iPhone 12 close to 5PM. Perched at eye level, this is by far the most tame Barred Owl I have ever encountered in the wild. You can probably pet it; it’s that cooperative. From head to the tip of its tail feathers, the owl is about two regular iPhone 12 in height.
