Aurora Borealis

2336 views Skrotus Maximus the 3rd November 22, 2024 Bartstow, Alberta, CA Date shot: October 7, 2024

The northern lights were visible due to a G2 geostorm triggered by solar flares on October 3. The solar flares caused coronal mass ejections (CMEs), which are clouds of charged particles that reach Earth on the solar wind. The effect of CMEs on Earth's magnetic field causes the aurora.
